February 25th, 2010 - Happy new year!  I wanted to post some news and information.  I receive many of e-mails about this, and I would like to clarify that I am not working on season two of FRINGE.  However, the season one soundtrack to FRINGE comes out on March 23rd, 2010 on Varese Sarabande records.  Included on the soundtrack is the highly requested piano piece from FRINGE episode eight, entitled "The Equation."  The piece plays in it's entirety, which was never heard on the show.  Once it is up on iTunes, I will post a link.  Thank you for all the mail and kind words I've received about the piece - I've never seen so many e-mails come through my site!

May 8th, 2009 - Yet another long period of time since I've updated.  I've been quite busy.  I'm currently composing music for the FOX/Warner Bros. television show "FRINGE" with Michael Giacchino.  FRINGE scores with a 25 piece orchestra, primarily low strings, and is one of the few remaining shows on television to use an orchestra.  In 2008, I composed the score for a LucasArts game entitled "FRACTURE" along with Michael Giacchino and Chris Tilton.  We scored with an 87 piece orchestra.  I've also composed additional music to the video game, "UP" based on the Disney/Pixar feature film.  In addition to composing music for these I also orchestrated them, as well as orchestrating on the new 2009 film STAR TREK which is in theatres today, in fact!  I've also orchestrated the "STAR TREK" video game based on the movie.  Finally, I've been orchestrating on the upcoming Universal film "LAND OF THE LOST."

Music examples of many of these projects will be coming soon as I continue to update.  Thank you for visiting!

October 24, 2008 - Launched the new site!

December 24th, 2006 - In a shocking turn of events, I have decided to update after a year and a half. I have still been working with Michael Giacchino, and have also been working on my own projects when I can find the time. I have scored a few short films, and a cartoon for Disney with Michael.

One of the short films, Hijacked, utilizes a 16-piece brass ensemble - 6 french horns, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, and 2 tubas. It was recorded at Capitol Records in April and was recorded by the fantastic Mike Aarvold, and was conducted and orchestrated by Mike Patti. Photos from the scoring session can be viewed HERE! Additionally, you can watch the film HERE!

EPICAC utilizes an interesting 6-piece ensemble - 2 violins, viola, cello, flute and piano. It was also recorded at Capitol Records. It was recorded by the lengendary Dan Wallin. I had fun orchestrating the score myself, and it was conducted by Susie Bench. Photos from the scoring session can be viewed HERE! I have also put up PDF's of the score in the music section for anybody interested.

Lights Out is a series of guitars and synths and performed by my good friend Kevin Riepl. Photos from the scoring session can be viewed HERE! Like Hijacked, I have also posted the movie for download HERE!

Please check out the music page - all these tracks are ready for download! I'm not done uploading yet, either. I will be putting up more music, score PDF's, movies, and pictures in the coming days.

July 27th, 2005 -
A lot has happened in the past 7 months, I have been quite busy working on LOST and ALIAS as well as several films. While all this was going on, I completed the score to a new game now on shelves called Tabloid Tycoon, by Black Lantern Studios. The score is available in the music section of the site.

December 4th, 2004 - Finally, a chance to update. The Fear of Clowns score is totally completed, and a few tracks from the film score can be found on the music page. I am glad the score was welcomed so warmly by both the director and producers. I have also finished a film by Matthew Alson Thornbury, entitled "4" -- that score can be found on the music page as well. On top of all that, I have completed another feature film entitled Stranger Than Fiction, and demos from that will be on my site in the coming weeks! Other than focusing on my own compositions, ABC's LOST is in full swing and I am still working for Michael Giacchino doing additional orchestration and score preparation every week. I hope you are all still enjoying the show!

September 18th, 2004 - I've recently had my music performed by orchestra. The orchestra consisted of players from the LA Studio Orchestra, and was recorded at Private Island Trax in Hollywood, California. The piece is entitled "There Will Come Soft Rains," and contains a generous ensemble size. In other news, the score to Fear of Clowns is complete! After the premiere of the film, I will be posting lots of cues from the film, so stay tuned.

August 25th, 2004 - I've been hard at work for Michael Giacchino lately. I recently prepared scores and orchestrated the pilot episode of LOST, which premieres on ABC September 22nd - so be sure to watch it! Fear of Clowns is almost completed, and I have a new piece to post. It is entitled "A Whimsical Being" and is performed live by six woodwind players. Instrumentation can be found in the piece's ID3 tag.

July 17th, 2004 - I am beginning the score to my first full-length film, entitled Fear of Clowns, directed by Kevin Kangas of Marauder Productions. I will be writing around 80 minutes of music for this film over the next month and a half or so.
